As someone who was born in Nanjing, China, and raised in Pleasanton, California, a person who spent the first ten years of her life learning British English, I get asked a lot - Where are you from, and Who are you?

With that international background, I see myself as a global citizen who loves animals, beaches, country music, meaningful conversations, and learning new things. But mostly, I love people. I love connecting with them, listening to their stories, and understanding what matters most to them.

Now, as a first-year graduate student in Digital Social Media at USC Annenberg, I’ve discovered a growing interest in news and Football —spaces where stories unfold in real time and shape the way we connect.
