LIVING HISTORY PROJECT
Conducting an interview video series that brings together retired Santa Clara University faculty as a Gerontology minor for meaningful conversations about life in and beyond the classroom. Through personal stories, career reflections, and teaching insights, retired professors share the legacy of their work and the lasting impact they've had on student lives. These conversations offer fresh perspectives on aging, education, and what it means to carry forward values of service, justice, and lifelong learning. These intergenerational dialogues honour the past while inspiring the future—one story at a time.
Coming from a Catholic background, I have always believed in Community, Service, Honour, and Giving Back. This work not only sharpened my interview skills but also reinforced my commitment to challenging ageism and promoting social justice in aging communities—a perspective I firmly believe enriches communications about health equity and marginalized populations.
